Alexandr Postler

Alexandr Postler is a Czech actor and voice artist who has been one of the leading figures of the East Bohemian Theatre in Pardubice since 1994. He studied acting at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and gained his early stage experience at the Těšín Theatre and the Silesian Theatre. On stage, he stands out for his versatility – effortlessly switching between dramatic and comic roles, whether performing Shakespeare, Molière, or contemporary playwrights. His favorite role, which he fondly recalls, was Sigurd in Ibsen’s historical drama The Pretenders. Audiences admire his charisma, humor, and ability to bring humanity and depth to every role.
