
Martin Šalacha
Martin Šalacha is a Slovak actor known for his natural acting style, sharp comedic timing, and emotional depth. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU) and began performing professionally while still a student. After his studies, he joined Astorka Korzo ’90 Theatre, the Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra, and the Slovak National Theatre, while also appearing on leading Czech stages. He regularly collaborates on independent productions and is active in film and television.
Audiences know him from series such as Čas nádejí, Hranica, and Prázdniny, as well as acclaimed stage productions that showcase his ability to handle both psychological drama and comedic or musical roles. Martin Šalacha is one of the distinctive voices of the young Slovak acting generation, bringing authenticity, nuance, and warmth to every character he portrays
