Martina Nováková

Martina Nováková is a Czech actress who has been a key member of the Klicpera Theatre ensemble in Hradec Králové since the 1983/1984 season. She graduated from JAMU in Brno and soon established herself on the Hradec stage, where she has played dozens of significant roles in both classical and contemporary productions. Audiences remember her from Maryša, The Government Inspector, The Lantern, Three Sisters, or Romeo and Juliet, as well as from her portrayal of Gertrude in Hamlet, where she demonstrated her versatility – from drama and comedy to poetic theatre. She also appeared in the film Nuda v Brně and in the TV series Modrý kód and Přešlapy. Audiences appreciate her natural style, sense of humor, and ability to bring humanity and depth to her characters.
