Eva Reiterová

Eva Reiterová is a Czech actress who truly has theatre in her blood. Born in Mladá Boleslav, she began her career during high school in the studio of the Jaroslav Průcha Theatre Kladno – Mladá Boleslav. While studying at DAMU (1978–1982), she performed at the Realistic Theatre of Zdeněk Nejedlý, in legendary productions by Evald Schorm at Divadlo Na zábradlí, and at the J. Wolker Theatre. After graduation, she spent six years in Ostrava, followed by six years at the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec. She also taught drama at an art school and appeared with Otomar Krejča at Divadlo za branou II. Since 1994, she has been a permanent member of the Municipal Theatre in Mladá Boleslav, where she has created dozens of roles. The media describe her as “a firm pillar of drama in Boleslav” and “a lady who can make the audience both laugh and cry with a single gesture.”
