
Václav Neužil
Václav Neužil is a Czech actor who can be funny one moment, completely natural the next, and deeply moving in the third. After graduating from JAMU in Brno, he performed at Divadlo Polárka, the National Theatre Brno, and HaDivadlo before joining Dejvické divadlo in 2006, where he first appeared in Elective Affinities. Since then, he has become one of the theatre’s most distinctive and beloved actors, admired for his authenticity, sense of timing, and ability to “play everything without overacting.”
He has starred in productions such as Ucpanej systém, Elegance Molecules, Resurrection, and The Winter’s Tale. Beyond theatre, he is known for his film and television roles in Zátopek, Anthropoid, Toman, and the acclaimed series Metoda Markovič: Hojer, where he captivated both audiences and critics.
