Ivana Machalová

Ivana Machalová is a Czech actress who graduated from the Higher Professional Acting School in Prague and has been performing on Czech stages since 2003. Audiences have seen her in Komorní činohra, Divadlo na Vinohradech, the Klicpera Theatre in Hradec Králové, Divadlo Minor, D21, and with the 3D Company ensemble. She is currently a key member of Komorní činohra, performing in productions such as Chaos, How I Learned to Drive, and Freud’s Patient, and she is also part of Geisslers Hofcomoedianten (Don Juan, or The Terrifying Banquet, Romeo and Juliet, and others). Critics praise her natural and energetic style as well as her ability to move seamlessly between classical theatre and experimental work.
