Petr Németh

Petr Németh is a stage actor from Brno, where he was born in 1988. In his hometown, he first graduated in classical dance at the Dance Conservatory and then successfully studied dramatic acting at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts. In the past, he has worked on a variety of theater stages, performing for example at the Brno City Theatre, the National Theatre Brno, Polárka Theatre, Moravian Theatre Olomouc, and the independent BuranTeatr. A major turning point in his career came in 2017 when he became a core member of the acting ensemble at the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb. Thanks to his background from the conservatory, he often portrays roles that demand great physical and movement skills. In addition to his home stage in Cheb, he currently also makes guest appearances at the Bez zábradlí Theatre in Prague. Before joining the Cheb ensemble, he made guest appearances on several Brno stages, including the Brno City Theatre (productions of Mary Poppins, Ghost) and the National Theatre Brno (Želary, Oedipus Rex). In Cheb, he has performed dozens of roles in a wide range of genres, such as Romeo and Juliet, Tartuffe, Around the World in Eighty Days (Cesta kolem světa), School, the Foundation of Life (Škola základ života), and The Play That Goes Wrong.
