Dominika Kavaschová

Dominika Kavaschová is a Slovak theatre, film and television actress. She was born in Košice and studied acting at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. During her studies she began collaborating with important Bratislava theatres such as ASTORKA Korzo ’90, Arena Theatre and GUnaGU Theatre, and later became a member of the Drama Company of the Slovak National Theatre, where she has created many notable roles in both contemporary and classical productions. On stage, Dominika Kavaschová is appreciated for her natural acting style, emotional intensity and ability to create strong and authentic characters. For her talent she received the prestigious Slovak theatre awards DOSKY – in 2013 as Discovery of the Year and in 2015 as Best Actress. She is also well known to television audiences. She has appeared in popular series such as Panelák, Odsúdené, Chlapi neplačú, Vlci, and Oteckovia.
