Klára Pavlíčková
Klára Pavlíčková is a Czech set and costume designer. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Scenography at DAMU in Prague under the tutelage of Matěj Forman, followed by a Master’s degree under Jan Štěpánek.
In her professional practice, she focuses on stage design, costume design, and the creation of visual installations. She collaborates with a variety of Czech theaters, including the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb (productions Around the World in Eighty Days and Tootsie), the Dejvice Theatre (Nitero), Prague City Theaters (Rokoko Theatre – My Little Führer), and the DISK Theatre. In addition to drama projects, she engages in site-specific installations, such as the Haiku project as part of the 4+4 Days in Motion festival.
Her work is characterized by an emphasis on material texture and the functional connection between the scenic object and the costume.
