Anežka Šťastná

Anežka Šťastná is a Czech theater actress. Born in 1998 in Prague, she began her acting career with the independent art group OLDstars while studying at the French section of Jan Neruda Grammar School. In 2017, she began studying dramatic acting at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU) in Prague under Jan Burian, Eva Salzmannová, Michal Dočekal, and Ondřej Vetchý. She is a permanent ensemble member at the Švandovo Theatre in Prague and a co-founder of the traveling theater troupe Ductus Deferens. Alongside her home stage, she guest-performs at Divadlo Ungelt in Cesta k vodopádům, MeetFactory in Ferdydurke, and A studio Rubín in Fakani and V zrcadlové síni. Her work earned her the prestigious Theatre Critics' Award as Talent of the Year 2022 and a longlist nomination for the Thalia Award for her roles in Fakani.
