Matúš Beniak
Matúš Beniak is a Slovak theatre, film, and television actor. He studied at a conservatory and subsequently graduated in drama acting from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. He gained his first theatrical experience in the Šesť Pé ensemble in Partizánske, from where his professional career moved on to major Slovak stages. He regularly performs on the stage of the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava and has also guest-starred at the Ján Palárik Theatre in Trnava. In front of the camera, he drew attention with roles in the acclaimed feature films Let There Be Light (Nech je svetlo) and Amnesty (Amnestie). However, he entered the wider public consciousness mainly through roles in popular television series, the most prominent being the character of Dávid in the hit series Mama na prenájom.
