Dana Droppová

Dana Droppová is a Slovak theatre, film, and television actress. She was born in 1998 in Liptovský Mikuláš and studied drama acting at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. She was a permanent member of the acting ensemble at the Ján Palárik Theatre in Trnava, where her outstanding performance in the title role of the play Maryša earned her a nomination for the prestigious DOSKY Theatre Award. Since 2025, she has been a member of the Slovak Chamber Theatre in Martin and regularly guest-stars at other venues, including the Slovak National Theatre. In front of the camera, she captured viewers' attention with leading roles in the fairy tale The Watchmaker's Apprentice (Hodinářův učeň) and in the films Scum (Sviňa) and Anatomy of Betrayal (Anatómia zrady). Her greatest success to date is the title role in the historical drama The Chambermaid (Slúžka), for which she won the Sun in a Net Award (Slnko v sieti) for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
