Filip Wiesner

Filip Wiesner is an experienced theatrical lighting technician and lighting designer. In 1989, he successfully graduated in image and sound technology from the Secondary Industrial School of Communication Technology on Panská Street in Prague. He gained his first professional experience at the Imaginativ theatre, where he completely mastered the specific and demanding lighting techniques of black light theatre. He subsequently worked at Opera Furore and the Chamber Opera. In 1993, he joined the then Divadlo Na Starém městě as a lighting technician. When this stage was transformed into the current Divadlo v Dlouhé in 1996, he became its head lighting technician. He continues to hold this position today, consistently shaping the visual and lighting atmosphere of its productions. He also applies his extensive theatrical experience and technical expertise at the State Opera in Prague, which is now part of the National Theatre.
