Daniela Bambasová

Daniela Bambasová is a Czech theater, film, and television actress. She comes from Prague, where she studied music and drama at the State Conservatory. She secured her first engagement at the Slovácké divadlo in Uherské Hradiště, from which she moved to the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice after seven years. She settled there permanently and became one of the most prominent pillars of its drama ensemble. For her performances on the South Bohemian stage, she received a record fourteen Jihočeská Thálie audience awards and also earned broader nominations for the national Thalia Award. She made her film debut in the historical movie Koncert na konci léta. Television audiences may know her from roles in the series Ferenc Liszt, V službách zákona, or from an episode of the popular Četnické humoresky. A special acting opportunity came with the series Velmi křehké vztahy (2007), where she appeared on camera alongside her real-life son, popular actor Daniel Bambas, playing his television mother.
