Jiří Untermüller
Jiří Untermüller is a Czech theater and film actor, director, and dramaturg. He studied at the Music and Drama Department of the Prague Conservatory. During his rich artistic career, he has passed through many stages – for example, he worked at the Činoherní studio in Ústí nad Labem, as well as in Pardubice, Karlovy Vary, and Liberec. At the turn of the millennium, he worked as a freelancer on both large and more intimate musical productions and directed children's performances in Příbram. A significant chapter in his life was his eleven-year engagement at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen, where, in addition to acting, he also served as a musical dramaturg for five years. In September 2014, he successfully auditioned and became a permanent member of the South Bohemian Theatre's drama ensemble in České Budějovice, where he also teaches acting courses at Ateliér 3D. He also regularly appears on camera, and audiences know him from popular television series such as Kriminálka Anděl, Modrý kód, Atentát, and Cirkus Bukowsky.
