Tomáš Drápela
Tomáš Drápela is a Czech theater and television actor. He studied acting at JAMU in Brno under the guidance of professors J. Karlík and J. Hlaváčková. After graduating, he took up his first professional engagement, spending two seasons at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava. A major turning point in his career came in 2002 when, during the severe summer floods, he relocated to South Bohemia. He accepted a permanent engagement in the drama ensemble of the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, where he remains a core member to this day. In addition to classical theater, he regularly participates in the popular acting project LiStOVáNí, which introduces interesting books to audiences by blending theater and reading. He also applies his acting experience on camera. Television audiences may know him from the recent series Mozaika or the regionally set crime drama Místo zločinu České Budějovice.
