
Dora Sulženko Hoštová
Dora Sulženko Hoštová is a Czech choreographer and dancer with an international reach. She graduated from the Duncan Centre Dance Conservatory in Prague and the Rotterdam Dance Academy, and teaches Duncan technique and improvisation at Duncan Centre, DAMU, as well as abroad. She is the author of notable choreographies such as Arkanum, Na Bidýlku, Process, and On a Perch, which have been successful internationally – Arkanum received the Interpretation Prize and the Audience Award at the Masdanza Festival, while Na Bidýlku won the Jarmila Jeřábková Award. She has collaborated with Cirk La Putyka, Divadlo Minor, VOSTO5, and Ponec Theatre. Critics praise her ability to combine precise movement with imagination and to create visually powerful theatrical images.
