Tomáš Dianiška

Tomáš Dianiška is a Slovak actor, playwright, and theatre director who has long been active in the Czech Republic. He began at the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, where he co-founded the now cult ensemble Divadlo F. X. Kalby. Since 2014 he has been a member of the Divadlo pod Palmovkou company and also collaborates with other Prague stages, including Divadlo LETÍ, Divadlo Petra Bezruče, Divadlo v Dlouhé, and A Studio Rubín. As a director, he has worked at the Komorní divadlo Aréna in Ostrava and at Divadlo Petra Bezruče. Dianiška is also the author of numerous original plays and adaptations that combine pop culture, humor, and serious themes. The media describe him as one of the most original voices in Czech theatre and a writer with an unmistakable signature style.
