
Božidara Turzonovová
Božidara Turzonovová is a legendary Slovak actress and one of the most respected figures in Slovak theatre and film. Born in Sofia and raised in Bratislava, she graduated in acting from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU). Since the 1960s, she has been a key member of the Slovak National Theatre, where she has created dozens of iconic roles — from classical dramatic heroines to powerful contemporary characters.
She has also left a significant mark in film and television, appearing in titles such as Orbis Pictus, Divine Emma (Božská Ema) and Stormy Wine (Bouřlivé víno), displaying exceptional psychological depth and emotional precision.
