
Petr Kubes
Petr Kubes studied dramatic acting at DAMU in Prague under Luboš Pistorius and Jiří Adamíra. After engagements in Mladá Boleslav and briefly at the Prague City Theatres, he returned to his hometown, spending sixteen seasons at the Moravian Theatre Olomouc, where he portrayed over 50 roles including Hamlet, Cyrano, and The Master Builder. Since 2019, he has been a member of the National Theatre Brno, acclaimed for roles such as Vladimir in Waiting for Godot and the Priest in The Doctor. In addition to theatre, he is active in radio and audiobook narration, and occasionally appears in film and television. He is married with two daughters. Although professionally based in Brno, Olomouc remains close to his heart.
