Kateřina Marie Fialová is a Czech actress and musical theatre star, a graduate of the Brno Conservatory and a multiple world champion in tap dance. Audiences know her from the Brno City Theatre (Whistle Down the Wind, Saturday Night Fever), from the Prague City Theatres, where she shone as Natasha in War and Peace and in the title role of María de Buenos Aires, as well as from the Karlín Musical Theatre (An Angel of the Lord) and the Divadlo Lucie Bílé (Love Is Love). Critics describe her as “a versatile talent with a feel for detail and emotion,” and her performance in Cats in Ostrava earned her the 2018 Jantar Award. Fialová combines musical theatre, drama, and music, and is one of the most distinctive faces of the young generation of Czech theatre.
