Eliška Huber Malíková

She first stepped onto the theatre stage at the age of four, appearing in the production I Am Rappaport, where her acting partner was Gustav Opočenský. In 1996, she portrayed Dorina in the production Casanova’s Morning Lady. She graduated from the Higher Vocational School of Acting in Prague, specializing in dramatic acting, presenting, and dubbing, under the guidance of Jan Nebeský and Lucie Trmíková. During her studies, she performed at Pidivadlo, appeared in the TV series Ordinace v růžové zahradě, and also took part in Agnieszka Holland’s film Burning Bush. Alongside her acting career, she hosts social events throughout the Karlovy Vary Region and contributes to weekend broadcasts on Czech Radio. At the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb, she is also responsible for marketing, public relations, and sales in addition to acting. Among her favourite productions are Odysseus (director: Josef Kačmarčík, 2020) and Mikveh (director: Adam Doležal, 2022), in which she had the opportunity to demonstrate a wide range of strikingly contrasting acting approaches. At the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb, she currently portrays, among others, Queen Victoria, an innkeeper in Munich, an Asian goddess / geisha, a presenter, and Marie Glocker in the production Around the World (director: Kateřina Volánková, 2024).
