Войцех Вондрачек
Vojtěch Vondráček was born on September 17, 1994, in Prague–Bohnice. During his teenage years, he competed in fencing at a top level, even participating in the World Championships. He graduated from the Stříbržského Secondary Vocational School, majoring in Animation and Photography. From 2015 to 2017, he studied at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) under the guidance of director Jan Mikulášek.
Since childhood, he has made guest appearances at Divadlo v Dlouhé, where his father, actor Jan Vondráček, also performs. During his studies, he appeared in productions such as The Bartered Bride on the Boards of the Provisional, Estates, and National Theatres 1868–2018, May (Máj), With the Scent of Gingerbread (S vůní perníku), Kafka's Notes (Kafkovy zápisky), Beckett, and others.
Currently, he can be seen, for example, in the production of The Prince (Vladař) at the Komedie Theatre. He also works with Czech Radio and narrates audiobooks. Together with his father, he founded a multi-generational, nine-member musical ensemble, in which he sings and plays the violin and bass guitar.
