Дора Віценікова
Dora Štědroňová is a highly regarded Czech theatre dramaturg and artistic director. She studied theatre dramaturgy at JAMU in Brno. Her career was initially linked to the National Theatre Brno, where she formed a strong creative team with director Jan Mikulášek and her husband Petr Štědroň at the Reduta theatre. There, she contributed to acclaimed productions such as Korespondence V+W and Zlatá šedesátá. In 2013, this successful team moved to Divadlo Na zábradlí in Prague, where Dora Štědroňová took on the role of artistic director and core dramaturg. In the theatre world, she is highly valued for her extraordinary talent in dramatizing non-theatrical texts—novels, diaries, and correspondence—creating visually and musically rich original theatre. Her unmistakable artistic style has helped Divadlo Na zábradlí win several prestigious Theatre of the Year awards.
