Pavel Leicman

Pavel Leicman is a Czech actor and one of the most reliable and distinctive members of the Zlín City Theatre ensemble. Audiences appreciate him for his natural, understated acting style, precision, and his ability to move effortlessly between comedy and psychological drama. On stage he may appear modest, but his presence is powerful—his characters are deeply human, clear, and firmly rooted in the story. At the Zlín theatre, he has created a wide range of memorable roles across the repertoire, from classical plays to contemporary drama and productions for younger audiences. In addition to theatre work, he appears in smaller film and television roles and has long been devoted to voice work, including dubbing and radio productions. An important part of his career is also his teaching activity: he collaborated with the Zlín Private Higher Vocational School of Arts, where he led the musical-dramatic arts programme for ten years.
