Ivo Sedláček

Ivo Sedláček is a Czech actor and composer of stage music who studied at the Ostrava Conservatory and the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU in Prague. He collaborates with a wide range of Czech theatres – from NoD, the Kladno City Theatre, and the Drama Studio Ústí nad Labem to the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, Studio Damúza, Losers Cirque Company, Minor Theatre, and Tygr v tísni. He is the founder of the music ensemble P/ST and in recent years has focused mainly on composing music for theatre productions. Critics describe his music as an original and distinctive element that brings rhythm and depth to performances. Sedláček is thus considered one of the most remarkable creators on today’s Czech theatre scene.
