Richard Stanke

Richard Stanke is a leading Slovak actor, comedian and voice actor, widely regarded as one of the most distinctive figures of contemporary Slovak culture. He began voice acting at the age of seven and appeared on screen for the first time at ten. He graduated in acting from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU) and has been a long-standing member of the Slovak National Theatre ensemble. He has excelled in major stage productions ranging from classical drama to contemporary psychological theatre, known for his precision, energy and charisma. Beyond theatre, he has built a strong film and television career, appearing in acclaimed titles such as Protektor, In the Shadow, Wilson City, Modelář and Obyčajný špás. He is also one of Slovakia’s most recognisable voice actors, having dubbed hundreds of roles. Richard Stanke is admired for his expressive precision, charisma, wry humour and strong civic engagement.
