Klicpera Theater

The Klicper Theater is a municipal theater in Hradec Králové and a four time winner of the “Theater of the Year" award, named after playwright Václav Kliment Klicpera. It hosts two theater festivals and is known for its commitment to innovation and progressive direction. For several seasons, the highly acclaimed and award-winning director Vladimír Morávek has worked here, staging exceptional productions that, thanks to his directorial poetics, are among the most important post-revolutionary works.
