Miroslava Georgievová
Miroslava Georgievová is a Czech theatre actress, director, and teacher of acting and stage speech at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava. She graduated from the Ostrava Conservatory in 1989. She worked at the Ostrava Puppet Theatre and the Moravian Theatre Olomouc, and from 1994 to 2009, she was a member of the Komorní scéna Aréna company (e.g., Tales of Common Insanity / Příběhy obyčejného šílenství, A Midsummer Night's Dream). She subsequently guest-starred at Prague's Divadlo v Celetné (Tetování), the Silesian Theatre in Opava, the Těšín Theatre, Studio G in Ostrava, and the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre (the productions Perfect Wedding / Dokonalá svatba, The Firemen's Ball / Hoří, má panenko). Her directorial and acting collaboration with Stará aréna was highly significant (e.g., the roles of Clytemnestra in Electra, Tamora in Titus Andronicus, and directing the plays Striptease or An Hour of Love). She has also appeared in the films Srnky or Krematorium: film and in the television series Shadows in the Mist (Stíny v mlze) or Odznak Vysočina.
