Ленка Кроботова
Lenka Krobotová is a Czech actress and one of the most distinctive faces of contemporary theatre and film. While studying drama acting at DAMU in Prague, she landed the role of Grushenka in The Brothers Karamazov (2000), directed by Lukáš Hlavica. Soon after, she joined Dejvické divadlo, just like her father Miroslav Krobot, and shone in productions such as A Streetcar Named Desire, The Idiot, Oblomov, Teremin, The Pillowman, Tales of Ordinary Madness and The Winter’s Tale. She has also guest-performed at Divadlo ABC, the Činoherní klub, and Divadlo Na Jezerce. Beyond drama, she also explored dance – as a member of the Impuls company, she performed in Jan Hřebejk’s musical Big Beat. Audiences also know her from films (One Hand Can’t Clap, Restart, Nowhere in Moravia, Quartet) and TV series such as Brainstorm.
