
Станіслав Зіндулка
Stanislav Zindulka was a Czech actor who became a legend of Czech theatre, film, and television. Audiences loved him for his natural acting style, gentle humour, and ability to give every character depth and humanity. Over his career, he performed on many stages – from the Regional Theatre in Hradec Králové, the State Theatre Brno, the Mrštík Brothers Theatre, and Divadlo Radost, to the Prague City Theatres, ABC Theatre, and Divadlo Komedie. From 1994 he was a permanent member of Prague’s Činoherní klub, where he created dozens of unforgettable roles – including in productions such as The Blunder, The Impresario from Smyrna, and Before Sunset.
On screen, he shone in the film Autumn Spring (Babí léto), for which he won the Czech Lion Award for Best Supporting Actor. Audiences also remember him from films like All My Loved Ones, The Cow, or Greetings from Heaven. Television viewers cherished him in series such as Bylo nás pět (as Father Bajza), Sanitka, and Ulice.
