
Тереза Маречкова
Tereza Marečková is a Czech theatre actress and musician, and a distinctive figure of the younger generation. She studied violin at the Brno Conservatory and has long been associated with Divadlo Husa na provázku.
On stage, she portrayed the title role of composer Vítězslava Kaprálová, as well as Alma Mahler and Andula in an adaptation of prose by Božena Němcová. She has also guest-performed at the National Theatre and at Prague City Theatres.
Her acting is characterized by strong emotional depth, precise voice work, and natural musicality. In addition to acting, she also composes music for theatre productions.
In the media, she is often described as “a distinctive talent of her generation.” In 2018, she received the Theatre Critics’ Award in the Talent of the Year category.
