
Тамара Котрбова
Tamara Kotrbová is a Czech stage and television actress and one of the notable personalities of the Městské divadlo Zlín ensemble. She studied acting at the Prague Conservatory and, during her final year, appeared as a guest performer at the Central Bohemian Theatre in Kladno. After graduating, she was a member of the Městské divadlo Zlín company from 1993 to 1996. She later worked freelance in Prague, focusing mainly on voice acting and dubbing. In 2001 she returned to the Zlín theatre, where she remains one of its prominent actors.
On stage, Tamara Kotrbová is appreciated for her natural acting style, sense of comic timing and her ability to create strong dramatic characters. On screen she has appeared in films such as The Importance of Being Earnest (Jak je důležité míti Filipa) and Entry to Paradise Forbidden (Vstup do ráje zakázán), where she also performed alongside her mother, actress Jorga Kotrbová.
