
Tomáš Havlínek
Tomáš Havlínek has been a member of the Prague City Theatres since the 2018/19 season. He graduated from a music high school and gained his first stage experience at the Dagmar Theatre in Karlovy Vary. During his acting studies at DAMU in Prague, he was already performing at the Divadlo pod Palmovkou and the Vinohrady Theatre. After graduating in 2015, he joined the permanent ensemble of the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, where over three years he appeared in productions such as Shakespeare in Hollywood, The Priest’s Children, and Call Jeeves. For his performances in Martin McDonagh’s Hangmen and Don Juan, he received the South Bohemian Thalia Award in 2018. His portrayal of Prior Walter in Angels in America earned him a place on the longlist for the 2019 Thalia Awards. Besides acting, Tomáš Havlínek is also a musician – he played for ten years in a symphony orchestra and performs as a violinist with various ensembles across different genres. He collaborates with the Tygr v tísni company and has also appeared in many films and television series.
