Кароліна Баранова

Karolína Baranová is one of the leading faces of the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec. An actress with an extraordinary sense for both dramatic heroines and comedic timing, she burst onto the North Bohemian stage in 2008 directly from the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and has since become an essential pillar of the ensemble. Karolína won over the Liberec audience as Jenůfa in Jenůfa (Její pastorkyně), Margaret in Faust, or Elaine in The Graduate. However, her talent is not limited to the classics; she was a key figure in the cult alternative group Divadlo F. X. Kalby, where she excelled in original plays by Tomáš Dianiška. In addition to her precise acting, Karolína possesses a powerful voice—proving her skills as both a singer and a talented lyricist in musicals, such as the Lady of the Lake in Spamalot or Candela in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.
