    Milan Kačmařík

Milan Kačmařík is a Czech actor who is one of the most prominent personalities of the contemporary theatre scene. A graduate of the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, he began his career at the Petr Bezruč Theatre and the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre, where he drew acclaim for his performances as Romeo, Radúz, Julien Sorel, and Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire. After his time at the Švanda Theatre (2002–2010), he became a sought-after guest artist at venues throughout the country, from Mladá Boleslav and České Budějovice to the Na Fidlovačce Theatre. Since 2016, he has been a permanent member of the Prague City Theatres company, excelling in productions such as The White Disease (Bílá nemoc), War and Peace, Macbeth, and The Little Foxes (Lištičky). Audiences appreciate him for his distinctive acting style, energy, and ability to combine dramatic depth with lightness and humor. The media describe him as an actor who can transform even minor roles into unforgettable moments. Alongside acting, he is also dedicated to teaching—he instructs in acting at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory, passing on his experience to the younger generation.
