Jan Hanny Firla
Hanny Firla, born Jan Firla, is a Czech actor, singer, dancer, and presenter who made a name for himself with the improvisation group IMPRA as well as on drama stages. He graduated from the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory, where he received three Student Thalia Awards. He performs at the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb, has appeared at Divadlo MA, and on other Prague stages. Audiences may remember him as Michael Dorsey/Dorothy in Tootsie, Jack Worthing in The Importance of Being Earnest, or Zdena in the acclaimed production Transky, body, vteřiny. He also hosts the podcast Tvoje Role for Red Bull and has received several awards, including four Zlatý Albrecht prizes. Critics praise his energy, versatility, and ability to both entertain and move audiences across genres.
