Petr Bařina

Petr Bařina is a Czech theatre educator and performer, representing one of the newest theatre professions. He was born in 2000 in Cheb and has been working at the Západočeské divadlo Cheb since 2020. He completed courses in Leisure Time Pedagogy and Theatre Education Basics and is a member of the Czech Association of Theatre Educators. As a theatre educator, Petr Bařina connects the worlds of audiences and theatre-makers. He prepares workshops, creative labs and educational programmes for children, students and adults who want to explore theatre more deeply and experience it in an interactive way. His work focuses on audience engagement and long-term development of theatre communities.
