Anna Chrtková

Anna Chrtková is a Czech scenographer, costume designer, and curator. Born in Chlumec nad Cidlinou, she studied fashion design in high school before graduating in scenography from JAMU in Brno. She is currently expanding her education through a doctoral program at DAMU in Prague. She made a name for herself in the theater world during her studies and regularly designs sets and costumes for leading domestic stages. Audiences may know her work from successful productions at HaDivadlo, the Municipal Theatre in Most, the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb, or Prague's Studio ALTA. In addition to classical theater, she creates interactive art installations and works as a curator for Prague's Divadlo X10. For her multidisciplinary artistic approach, she and the Intelekturálně collective won a prestigious award at the Prague Quadrennial 2019.
