Odysseus, Come Home
In this performance directed by Belarusian Evgeny Kornyag there is no historical reconstruction of Homer's poems. “The emphasis is shifted to a futuristic simulation of the soldiers' return home with reference to the nation's expectations of the end of the war with Russia" (Kyiv Daily). Penelope waits patiently for her husband Odysseus, who wishes to return home but is unable to. The story is told through artistically written monologues and represents "not only a plastic but also an extraordinarily musical" show. "A beautiful picture" (Ukrinform) about the faith, hope and tenderness of a loving woman.
