Zdeňka Žádníková

Zdeňka Žádníková (née Volencová) is a Czech actress and one of the long-standing members of Dejvické divadlo, where she has performed since 1996. She studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU), Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre, and first appeared on stage in the musical Kennedy’s Children (Oh, Dear Buddha!). Her first major role at Dejvické divadlo was as the Friend in The Soothing Method. She is considered one of the key figures of the theatre’s ensemble, performing in productions such as The Winter’s Tale, Theremin, The Seagull, A Streetcar Named Desire, and The Brothers Karamazov. On stage, she captivates audiences with her natural presence, attention to detail, and effortless sense of humor. Beyond the theatre, she is well known from TV series such as Rodinná pouta (Family Ties), Velmi křehké vztahy (Very Fragile Relationships), and the fairy tale Three Brothers. In addition to acting, she is involved in charity work, moderates various events, and is a conservatory graduate in flute performance.
